ADAS Calibration

After any collision, windshield replacement, or suspension repair, your safety systems must be recalibrated. This is not optional.

Automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise, and blind spot monitoring are calibrated to millimeter precision. A displaced sensor can make the difference between a system that prevents an accident and one that causes one.

When is calibration required?

After a windshield replacement (the forward camera mounts to the glass), collision repair, front suspension or steering work, bumper replacement, or a wheel alignment on an ADAS-equipped vehicle.

Some vehicles need static calibration with a target board at a precise distance. Others need dynamic calibration on the road. Many need both. We perform the procedure your manufacturer specifies, not a shortcut. Calibration is performed in-house.

Why this cannot be skipped

A forward camera that's off by 1° can make emergency braking activate too late, or not at all, at highway speeds. A cleared trouble code is not the same as a calibrated system.

Our process

1.

Pre-scan

A full vehicle scan documents existing fault codes.

2.

Repair completion

Body, structural, glass, or alignment work is finished first. Calibration always comes last.

3.

Calibration setup

Target boards are set at manufacturer-specified distances on level ground.

4.

Calibration procedure

We follow the OEM calibration sequence for your make and model.

5.

Post-scan & verification

A final scan confirms every system reports correctly before delivery.
