Dents
If the paint isn't cracked, many dents can be worked out from behind the panel without any paint at all. That keeps your original finish and takes a fraction of the time of traditional body work.
Deeper dents or creases get repaired and refinished so the panel is straight and smooth again.
Scratches
If your fingernail catches in the scratch, it has gone through the clear coat. Light scratches can be sanded, compounded, and polished out. Scratches down to the primer or metal get spot-repaired and blended so they disappear.
